Overhaul of the bridge over the Psel River at km 74+827 of the state highway R-42 Lubny-Mirhorod-Opishnya in the village of Baranivka, Poltava region

The bridge is designed on a straight section in plan, the longitudinal profile of the project section is designed as a single-slope with increasing elevations from the beginning to the end of the bridge. The bridge is located between the village of Velyki Sorochyntsi at a distance of 7 km and the village of Baranivka at a distance of 600 m.

Taking into account the design tasks and the results of the survey of the existing bridge, the working project provides for the construction of a new bridge using the existing piles on the extreme and intermediate supports.

The main parameters of the bridge after overhaul:

• construction scheme – 4×18.0 m + 3×18.0 m + 4×18.0 m, temperature-inseparable;
• length – 199.2 m;
• dimensions – G-9.0+2×0.75 m;
• loads: self-weight of structures, temporary from rolling stock – A11 and NK-80, temporary from pedestrians (as a vertically evenly distributed 0.4 t/m2), wind (characteristic pressure W0=500 Pa), temperature and climatic.
