Overhaul of the bridge across the Irpin River at km 1+200 of the local public highway C101419 Yablunivka – Pereviz

The project for the overhaul of the bridge has developed solutions to eliminate shortcomings, defects and damage to the bridge elements:

• milling the existing asphalt concrete pavement of the bridge to a thickness of up to 23.0 cm;

• dismantling the protective layer of waterproofing and the drainage triangle;

• dismantling of prefabricated reinforced concrete sidewalks;

• dismantling of beams of span structures;

• dismantling of the support beams

• dismantling of the support posts and grillages

• it is planned to install additional piles on the supports with the expansion of the grillage, the installation of a new support body and crossbar;

• installation of supporting parts;

• installation of new I-beams (shortened to 16.76 and 15.5 m) with the arrangement of temperature inconsistency nodes;

• arrangement of a monolithic slab and sidewalks;

• arrangement of expansion joints with an elastomeric compensator fixed in a special corner profile (on supports 1, 4, 7).

• arrangement of waterproofing according to GBN V.2.3-218-003:2010;

• arrangement of a two-layer asphalt concrete coating;

• arrangement of a thin-layer coating on sidewalks;

• arrangement of a galvanized safety fence according to DSTU B.V.2.3-28:2011;

• arrangement of a galvanized railing;

• reinforcement of cone slopes with gabions;

• arrangement of bridge-embankment connection nodes;

• installation of safety fencing on the approaches;

• installation of road surfacing on the approaches.

Traffic is closed for the duration of the work.

After the completion of the major repair work, the design temporary loads from rolling stock on the A-15 bridge + crowd on the sidewalks, NK-100.
