Overhaul of the bridge over the land at km 41+541 of the public highway of state importance R-36 Nemyriv – Mogilev-Podilskyi, Vinnytsia region

The area of ​​work is located near the village of Rakhny-Lisovi on the road of technical category III R-36 Nemyriv – Mogilev-Podilskyi, Vinnytsia region.

The detailed design provides for the construction of a new bridge using existing piles with the following main parameters:

  • prefabricated monolithic span structure according to the scheme 3×8.8 m;
  • intermediate supports – reinforced concrete piles on a pile foundation;
  • piers – pile-cast;
  • total length of the bridge – 27.2 m;
  • the bridge structures are designed for the following loads: self-weight of the structures, soil pressure of the embankment, temporary loads from rolling stock – A11 and NK-80, temporary loads from pedestrians (as a vertically evenly distributed 0.4 t/m2), wind, temperature and climatic loads.

In the longitudinal profile of the bridge, it is located on a straight section with a slope of 10‰ with a decrease in elevation from the beginning to the end of the bridge. In plan, the bridge is located on a straight line.

Taking into account the design tasks, as well as the requirements of Amendments No. 1 and No. 2 of DBN V.2.3-4:2015 in terms of the designation of the overall dimensions, the detailed design must provide for:

1) the arrangement of a carriageway with a total width of 9.0 m, consisting of two lanes, each 4.0 m wide, taking into account the expansion for each lane of traffic by 0.50 m on a concave vertical curve of the longitudinal profile with an algebraic difference of the oncoming slopes of more than 60 ‰, according to clause 5.1.18 of DBN V.2.3-4:2015 and safety strips on each side of 0.5 m;

2) arrangement of service passages on each side, 0.75 m wide.

The estimated service life according to DBN V.1.2-14:2018 and DBN V.2.3-22:2009 is 80 years.

The bridge has a total length of 27.2 m. The bridge scheme is 3×8.8 m, temperature-continuous. The dimensions of the structure are G9.0+2×0.75 m. The span structure of the bridge consists of trapezoidal beams 8.8 m long and 0.6 m high. 10 beams with distances in the axes of 1.1 m are installed in the cross section of the bridge. The extreme supports are two-row piles (using one row of existing piles) of cast-in-place reinforced concrete. Intermediate supports are three-row piles (using one row of existing piles) of reinforced concrete. The supporting parts are rubber-metal.
